Content Authenticity Initiative
ProvSeal is a member of the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), a community supporting digital content provenance and transparency. This membership is separate from the C2PA Conformance Program and does not constitute certification of ProvSeal.

ProvSeal is currently undergoing the C2PA Conformance Program application process as a Validator Product. It is not currently represented as a C2PA Conforming Product.
Boundaries
What ProvSeal does not claim
Clear boundaries are part of the product, not a footnote.
Unsigned content is not automatically false, and valid credentials do not automatically make every claim true.
A signature and certificate chain must be interpreted within the relevant identity and trust policy.
Test certificates can validate a workflow but do not create public ecosystem recognition.
